GAMES OUR PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS PLAYED

On the last day of term we tried playing some of the games that our parents and grandparents might have played. We played hula hoops, skipping, elastics, skittles, hop scotch and knuckle bones. We realised that we still play some of these games.
It was fun to learn some new games and activities, and it was a great way to finish our study about Toys and Pastimes.

  1. I remember hula hoops, knuckle bones, chatter rings, and rubic cubes. It just shows that if you live long enough everything comes back into fashion again. I hope that all the stormy weather in Auckland has gone. Have a nice day Room 4.
